Speaking at the reception the Australian High Commissioner Kathy Klugman said “I like to congratulate the Australian players on their performance so far in the tournament. Among the many links our countries share cricket has always been one of the highlights”.

The reception was attended by the management and players of the Australian cricket team, officials of Sri Lanka Cricket’s Interim Committee and Sri Lankan Cricket Board, sponsors and past cricketers.
